Our Story

Born out of a response to crisis

Ramzunā Languages was created by Juliette Delbarre, a seasoned educator, in direct response to the destruction of schools, universities and workplaces in Gaza.

Ramzunā has since expanded to be composed of Palestinian team members and educators from 19 different nationalities.

Our Mission

Language as a lifeline, not a luxury

In a time of humanitarian crisis, language is more than just a skill; it is a tool for continuity, economic survival, and personal agency.

Our mission is to support Palestinian students in overcoming the significant infrastructural and mobility barriers imposed by ongoing conflict.

Through language instruction, we equip learners with the tools to access remote work, advanced studies, academic exams, and global advocacy networks, ensuring that educational and economic opportunities remain accessible to Palestinians.

Our Values

The principles that guide everything we do.

Education — A Human Right

In line with Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we firmly believe education is a human right, and every Palestinian should have access to it.

Empowerment

We support students in reinforcing their language skills, preparing them for further study and professional careers, and empowering them to make their voices heard.

Justice and Sumud

We value justice, dignity, humanity, peace, and the right to continue learning.

Community and Transnational Solidarity

We are strongly committed to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Quality Education, Reduced Inequalities, and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
