Ramzunā Languages neither sells nor trades personal information. We also do not share it with partner organisations, donors, funders, or third parties.

• All communications are conducted over fully encrypted channels (HTTPS).

• Only trusted, end-to-end encrypted applications are used for confidential discussions.

• All data is stored on open-source, end-to-end encrypted platforms. 

• Administrative accounts are protected through secure, multi-factor authentication procedures.

• Data is retained solely for the minimum period necessary, in line with security and privacy best practices.

6. Data Retention: 

Ramzunā Languages retains data only as long as necessary for programme delivery. 

Default retention periods:

• Student records: 

  • Upon Permanent Exit: Personal identifying data is permanently erased or irreversibly anonymised immediately upon a student's formal exit from the programme.

  • Upon Temporary Absence (Paused Participation): If a student’s participation is temporarily paused or interrupted, their identifiable records are securely retained and placed into restricted access for a maximum period of 6 months. If the student does not return or contact the programme within this timeframe, the records are permanently erased or anonymised.

• Volunteer Records: 3 years after last engagement. 

• Email subscribers: until unsubscribed

• Website analytics: Retained in accordance with the retention settings of the analytics and hosting services used by Ramzunā Languages and is periodically reviewed. 

• Internal communications: Retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for operational, safeguarding, legal, or administrative purposes and are periodically reviewed and deleted when no longer required.

Anyone who subscribes to our newsletters via our website may unsubscribe at any time.
